A filter in straw form. Small, safe and easily to handle. This filter transforms microbiologically contaminated water into clean drinking water. Ideal for outdoor and camping but also in natural disasters.
Micro hollow fibres effectuate the filtration and purify a minimum of 1.000 L of water eliminating nearly all bacteria (99,9999 %) and single-cell parasites (99,9 %) including Giardia that contaminate the water. The filter also reduces cloudiness and eliminates all particles bigger than 0.2 microns. The housing is made of resistant plastic.
The filter is free of chemicals, doesn't need any electricity, battery or replacement parts. It works with a slight sucking of its user. All those who are able to use a straw, are able to use LifeStraw®. After its use, just blow air through the straw for flushing it.
